Music.
I've been
writing music for as long as I can remember. Started
recording my own stuff on a crappy little 4-track Fostex
when I was a teenager, was fortunate enough to work in
some nice studios later on, and then I got married - had
kids - went broke - and I'm back to recording alone in
my office on junky equipment. Funny how life cycles
around eh? Most of my music is self-recorded... yes I
play all the instruments, sing, bang things, all that
good stuff. I'm not great at any one thing - but I'm
thankful I've been able to piece together some music on
my own.
All my
music from 2008 and on has been recorded on a Boss
BR-600. (seriously) That's a lot of music on a small
piece of equipment... in fact, I wore out the dial
and some of the buttons. Hey Boss - I could use a
replacement... they only run about $200 retail, hook a
guy up?? (yeah right)
Well...
I'm not going to win any awards for well-produced music,
but I gotta get it out of my head. (Thanks for
